EXIT River Rock Realty hosted an invitation only Wine and Cheese Festival at The HomePlace on Saturday, April 9, 2022. The weather was just perfect for showcasing this amazing and prestigious neighborhood. The festival was hosted in the middle of the neighborhood on a large open green space that all current residents enjoy daily.
This gorgeous and exclusive neighborhood was founded and create in 2004 by The HomePlace Developers which wanted to diversify their business into the residential sector. The HomePlace Developers have been long time residents of Autauga County with rich heritage that dates to the 1800s. The HomePlace was founded and developed with the simple life in mind when families spent lazy days on the front porch listening to cricket’s chirping, fireflies being caught in mason jars by children are running around on long summer nights while sipping sweet tea. The traditions, heritage, and remembrance of values of the past have inspired a beautiful, unique community of homes to be valued for a lifetime. All homes in The HomePlace have been approved by an Architectural Review Board, which are consistent house styles like Craftsman, Georgian, and Victorian just to name a few. When you build in The HomePlace you’ll choose from one of Three Custom Home Builders, each with distinctive portfolios to suit everyone, along with guidance to accomplish your style of home while maintaining the look and feel of the current architecture of The HomePlace.
Invitees enjoyed an afternoon on a luscious lawn with musical entertainment from Dixon Darling while sipping a glass of wine and enjoying a nice charcuterie box for two. While meeting and mingling with other guests, invitees were also able to meet and talk with the 3 custom home builders of The HomePlace while looking at some of there amazing work. Future amenities plan and future development plans were also on display to showcase where The HomePlace is headed.
Invitees had a chance to register for a chance to win one of two giveaways, 2 rounds of golf to Robert Trent Jones – Capitol Hill or a Picnic Basket filled with 2 bottles of wine and a $100 gift certificate to Central Restaurant. Our lucky winners on Saturday were:
- Sheila Brown won the picnic basket filled with the wine and gift certificate.
- James Duke won the 2 rounds of Golf at Robert Trent Jones – Capitol Hill (courtesy of RTJ-Capitol Hill).
